Poesy rings have a long and vibrant history stemming from Ancient Byzantine Marriage rings, developing through religious amulets and inscriptions, finally evolving into the poetry and love tokens that we see starting in roughly the 15th century. A simple band with a delicate floral motif in the tradition of medieval poesy rings. This ring is one of a kind, and was carved in wax before being cast in sterling silver. The inscription reads "I like my choyse" and was based on a style in the collection of the British Museum.
This ring is a size 6 and can be sized up to a 6.5.
