Poesy rings have a long and vibrant history stemming from Ancient Byzantine Marriage rings, developing through religious amulets and inscriptions, finally evolving into the poetry and love tokens that we see starting in roughly the 15th century. We research these rings in their design and text. If you are interested in learning more, check out our blogpost here

A classic motif of two hands clasping a burning heart, in the style of a claddah ring. This one of a kind ring was originally carved in jewelers wax before being cast in sterling silver. It has a hidden message on the inside of the band reating "in thy breast my heart doth rest," in the style of medieval english poesy rings. The style and phrase are based off of rings in the collection of the British Museum.

This ring is a size 7.5 and can be sized up to a 8 or down to a 7
